DEFEAT OF TERRORISTS IN SRI LANKA
In May 2009, the Sri Lankan authorities managed to defeat the fighting units of the Tamil Eelam Liberation Tigers (LTTE)terrorist organization and take control of the entire territory of the country. The LTTE is known worldwide as one of the most violent extremist separatist groups. Over a quarter of a century of bloody armed conflict in Sri Lanka killed more than 70 thousand people. "Tigers" committed dozens of horrific terrorist acts using suicide bombers, and often suicide bombers. Among the victims are Indian Prime Minister R.
